Peninsula Community Health Services of Alaska is part of the Alaska Primary Care Organization, which provides primary care health services to the residents of Alaska. They're accounting for their future with MIP.
Joanne Jenkins is an Accounting Clerk with Peninsula Community Health Services of Alaska. After using an on-premise deployment, Jenkins and her organization moved to the MIP Cloud in 2019.
“We use it for our payables, our payroll, our receivables, reporting, budgeting. It's nice to have all aspects of accounting under the same program, making reporting consistent,” shared Joanne.
On MIP Cloud providing a return on investment, Joanne said, “By moving to the cloud, we relieved our server and were not being forced to replace it (which for a nonprofit is a huge expense). One person is able to input and maintain files for both payables and receivables. Where we used to have two people working full time in the department, now we have one.”
