MIP offers a multi-tenant environment and users have the choice of logging into one of two versions of MIP. It’s their choice. All cloud users have access to the Classic Version of MIP and the Modern UI. The Modern UI is the new, modern interface of MIP that is only available to our cloud customers.

The cloud offers additional functionality in addition to not incurring the cost or time of managing IT on- premises, including managing backups, doing upgrades and staying compliant with Microsoft SQL™ and Microsoft™ server operating systems. If Microsoft discontinues or upgrades an operating system, on-premises MIP Fund Accounting solution users are responsible for the costs associated with upgrading their operating system to work with
Classic MIP.
